Emergency Room Renovation
The Emergency Room in a hospital, operating 24/7, is considered to be one of the most difficult installations in our industry. And, in this busy Littleton, Colorado hospital, a moisture problem only added to the dilemma.
Without disrupting the ongoing hospital workflow, we needed to remove the existing flooring, diamond grind the concrete, apply 2 coats of Ardex MC epoxy, self level the floor to encapsulate the system and install new flooring. And here’s the hardest part…we only had 77 hours to complete.
That might seem like plenty of time until you consider that the products that were being applied needed 38 of those hours to cure.
This project was successfully completed in two phases each approximately 3,500 square feet.
